Forget Me Not and Snowflakes

Published December 4, 2014 by clairestelle8

So I did warn you snowflakes would be a regular feature this month and today they take centre stage! I started with a base of Picture Polish Forget Me Not. This is a collaboration shade with Kate the fabulous nail blogger otherwise known as Lacquertude. Read more about her inspiration for the shade here: http://lacquertude.com/2014/08/23/forget-me-not-by-picture-polish-x-lacquertude/

Forget Me Not is the most glorious electric blue with a subtle scatter holo and a fine silver shimmer. The formula was perfect. Opaque for me in two generous coats with top coat.

Well, as it is the Christmas season I couldn’t resist adding some snowflake decals. I felt they set the stunning colour off beautifully. What do you think?

    • Thank you so much! Well if you are in the US indie brands are quite easy to come by compared with the UK. I have to buy internationally direct from the polish maker or stores like LLarowe, Harlow and Co and Mei Mei Signatures. My favourites at the moment would be Glam Polish, an Aussie brand that make the most gorgeous holos and glitters (they ship to the US) and Laquerlicious which have the best crellys and micro glitters. Really unique!
